Psquare’s Peter Okoye has cautioned Nigerian young to vote for the right candidate in the general election in 2023.
Peter advised youths against recycling old politicians in a series of tweets on his website criticizing the situation of Nigeria.
The musician pondered why Nigerian leaders could not mimic the positive things they see when they travel outside the country, as he shared photos of his view from Dubai.
Peter urged Nigerian youths to ‘use their heads’ and collect their PVCs in time for the 2023 election.
“Anytime I just enter Dubai instead of enjoying myself, I just dey vex for our motherland Nigeria with rage!” he tweeted.
“Isn’t it the same 1960 when we got our independence?” Why, God, are you doing this? Why does our government deny us all of the nice things in life? Make an effort to make sense for the general election in 2023.
“Come on, fellas, get your PVC.” If there’s any blunder, it’ll be a long eight years of wahala. Enough with the government’s recycling! We’re not doing it again! Prepare for the election of 2023.
“Who are we offending for our country Nigeria, Abeg?” Isn’t it true that our government is blind to all of these wonderful things? Even if they have a travel pass, they are not qualified to emulate! It’s not looking good for them. Guys, get your PVC.”
A number of prominent Nigerian politicians have stated their intention to contest in the general elections of 2023.
All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader Bola Tinubu, Ebonyi Governor Dave Umahi, Senate Chip Whip Orji Kalu, Aminu Tambuwal, and former Imo Governor Rochas Okorocha have expressed interest in the presidency.
There are rumors that Atiku Abubakar’s running mate, Bukola Saraki, may proclaim presidential ambitions soon.
