The trial involves three suspects that are men. And the trial begins tomorrow Thursday 9th, 2023. Watch the video below.
On of XXXTentacion friend, Leonard Kerr, admitted in court that they were attacked suddenly while driving a BMW car.
He explained the entire incident to the court, “If I run, I can get shot, but I can live. If I sit…” He said as he tries to narrate in detail how they killed his friend right in front of him. Recall that the murder happened on the 18th day of June, 2018 along the Riva Motorsports parking lot, near Fort Lauderdale.

According to Kerr, the two men confronted them at gunpoint, urging them to get out of the car. Kerr obeyed, while XXXTentacion remained in the vehicle. As he drove away, Kerr heard “at least two loud bangs,” before noticing the two men getting back into their car and taking the $50,000 that XXXTentacion is withdrawing from his bank account in the video above.
The three men involved in the murder face charges, Michael Boatwright, 28, accused of being the shooter; Trayon Newsome, 24, charged with being the second shooter; and Dedrick Williams, 26, accused of being the drivers.
The suspects were seen flaunting money on social media, which was assumed to be the money taken from the dead Rapper, XXXTentacion. Apparently, that was what lead to their arrest.
Pascale Achille, the prosecutor, narrating what he believed, said;
“They go on social media and start bragging that they have this influx of cash. They flash it like it’s Christmas Day.”
The case will be rolling in court through March. Stay tuned as 360media Music will bring you updates on how it goes. We hope justice is served, accordingly.
