Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea’s manager, has stated that he does not need to speak with the club’s potential new owners.
This was said by Tuchel during his Friday press conference.
The German stated that the race to buy the Blues from Roman Abramovich was down to four candidates.
If he meets with potential new owners, the former PSG and Borussia Dortmund manager says he wants to do so as late as possible.
“Absolutely not,” says the speaker. I’m not sure they want to, and I’m not sure I should either. I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad concept.
“Perhaps it’s best to become involved – if I’m going to be involved – as late as possible,” Tuchel added.
Chelsea welcomes Brentford to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, looking to consolidate their hold on third place in the Premier League.
