Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United have reacted to their team’s Premier League 4-2 victory over Leeds United on Sunday.
Harry Maguire, Fernandes, Fred, and Anthony Elanga scored four goals to help Manchester United overcome Leeds.
Rodrigo Moreno and Raphinha, on the other hand, scored for Leeds at Elland Road.
In a post-game tweet, Ronaldo called the triumph a “very significant Premier League win” for Ralf Rangnick’s side, while Fernandes called it a “perfect Premier League win.”
“Very essential Premier League win before we shift our emphasis to the Champions League and travel to Madrid,” Ronaldo tweeted. We’re back on track now! “United we stand!”
“Well, that was a classic Premier League triumph…,” Fernandes wrote. “I hope you had a good time with the reds.”
On Wednesday, Manchester United will face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
