Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria’s former Vice President, has advised the Super Eagles that they have a second chance to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
While reacting to Nigeria’s 0-0 tie with Ghana on Friday night, Atiku wrote this in a post via his Twitter profile.
Remember that the Super Eagles held the Black Stars to a goalless draw in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff in Kumasi on Friday.
Austine Eguavoen’s team was unlucky not to overcome Ghana after missing several golden opportunities during the match.
“Well done, Super Eagles,” Atiku tweeted in response. On Tuesday, you will have another chance to make Nigeria’s participation in Qatar 2022 a reality.
“By working together, we can overcome any obstacles.” #OneNigeria.”
On Tuesday, Nigeria will face Ghana in a rematch at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The victor of the two legs will earn a spot in the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar later this year.
