Ralf Rangnick, Manchester United’s interim manager, has disputed Paul Pogba’s assertion that he lacks a defined role in the club.

Pogba, whose current contract with United expires this summer, says he has been unfulfilled throughout his last six years at the club.

The World Cup champion also said that the Red Devils’ season was “over” because there were no more titles to be won.

Rangnick stated on Friday that he has more pressing issues to deal with than Pogba’s grievances.

“I’ve got enough on my plate right now preparing the club for the next game, and I don’t think it’s fair to interpret or just assess what he says in an interview.”

“It doesn’t make sense; it’s critical to pass judgment on him.”

“I heard he stated he’d been playing in various spots in the last few weeks. Since the game against West Ham, we’ve lost three strikers: Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani, who is out for the next couple of weeks due to injury.

“On top of that, if Paul is still injured, you’ll have to play a different role with Bruno or Scott McTominay.” “This is typical,” Rangnick explained.
