FOOTBALL: Cameroon qualified for the AFCON 2021 semi-finals after defeating Gambia

Cameroon qualifies for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-finals with a 2-0 win over Gambia at the Douala Stadium on Saturday.

At halftime, the AFCON quarter-final match was a 0-0 draw.

Cameroon, on the other hand, overcame Gambia in the AFCON last four thanks to a second-half double from Karl Toko Ekambi.

In the AFCON last-16, Cameroon defeated Comoros 2-1.

The semi-final match for the host country will take place on Thursday.

They’re indeed one of the favorites to win the AFCON in 2021
