Paul Scholes, a Manchester United legend, has slammed the club’s bright young players, such as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga.

Man United’s young players, according to Scholes, should not be deemed “great players” until they win trophies.

“[Manchester United] is the biggest club in the world, and it needs to be winning trophies,” Scholes stated on BT Sport.

“Year after year, they spend a lot of money, but they don’t create.”

“With these young players, we anticipated this year would be a little different.” However, these young athletes, who everyone believes are terrific talents, aren’t quite there yet.

“Until they have won something, they aren’t great players.” We keep talking about how they have the ability to win anything, but they haven’t proven it yet.”

In the Champions League, Manchester United drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.

For their respective clubs, Joao Felix and Elanga scored goals.
