AFCON 2021: Africa should be proud of Comoros – Drogba

Didier Drogba, a Chelsea star, has named Comoros as the African team to root for in the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

After Comoros was eliminated from the 2021 AFCON on Monday night, Drogba said this.

Comoros was eliminated from the 2021 AFCON round of 16 tie against host Cameroon, according to 360MEDIA.

Despite incurring a red card throughout the match, debutants Comoros fought hard against Cameroon.

They did, however, lose 2-1 against Cameroon.

“Waaah!!! Drogba tweeted, “What a team, what COURAGE, Africa is proud of this brave Comorian team @fedcomfootball.”

After defeating Ghana 3-2 in their final group C encounter, Comoros advanced for the AFCON round of 16 and sent the Black Stars home.
