Senegal has qualified for the final of the current 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon, according to five European clubs: Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester City, Napoli, and Watford.
Senegal overcame Burkina Faso 3-1 in the AFCON 2021 semi-final clash on Wednesday night.
Senegal defeated Burkina Faso and qualified for the final thanks to goals from Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye, and Sadio Mane in the second half.
Burkina Faso’s Blati Toure scored the game’s only goal in the 82nd minute.

“! Papy Mendy helps steer Senegal to Sunday’s showpiece at #AFCON2021,” Leicester City tweeted in a similar vein.
Senegal will now face the winner of the AFCON final between Cameroon and Egypt.
