Volodymyr Zelensky Says Ukraine Is Yet To Receive “A Single Cent” Towards Its Fast Recovery Plan. The Ukrainian leader told a conference in Berlin that the nation has a $17 billion recovery plan in place to repair the damage done by the Russian invasion but says that financial support is needed from the rest of Europe.
Zelensky said: “As of now we haven’t received a single cent for the implementation of the fast recovery plan.”
The president revealed that more than a third of Ukraine’s energy sector has been destroyed by Russian rockets and Iran-made drones.
Addressing the conference via video link on Tuesday (25.10.22), Zelensky said: “Russia destroys everything to make it harder for us to survive this winter, so that Ukraine cannot recover from this war for as long as possible, so that we cannot integrate the Ukrainian economic potential and the European economic potential for as long as possible.”

She said: “We have no time to waste. The scale of destruction is staggering.”
Zelensky has also called for more military support from other European nations to help Ukraine survive the winter months and rebuild from the destruction caused by Vladimir Putin’s forces.
He said: “Let the aggressor see that his goal is unattainable.”
