Naira Marley, a popular artist, has stated that he no longer enjoys watching football because of the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Arsenal.

In response to Nigeria’s elimination from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon, Marley said this.

Nigeria was eliminated from the 2021 AFCON after a 1-0 loss to Tunisia on Sunday night, according to 360MEDIA.

Tunisia defeated the Super Eagles in the AFCON round of 16 and qualified for the quarter-finals thanks to Youssef Msakni’s second-half goal.

In a series of tweets following the game, Marley slammed referee Maguette N’Diaye, who officiated Nigeria’s match against Tunisia, for not giving the Super Eagles a penalty.

“From when I saw a player called Ifa in the Tunisian team, I knew we weren’t gonna win. Referee head come be like orunmila,” Marley tweeted.

“The referee didn’t award us the corner, and he didn’t award us a penalty for that handball, but he wants to use VAR to award us a red card kmft.” Man, fuck football.

“This is why I don’t watch football anymore because of Nigeria and fucking Arsenal.” [sic].
