FOOTBALL: Tuchel offers an update on Chelsea's new owners in the Premier League

Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea’s manager, has provided an update on the club’s ownership.

After Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government, the Blues are in the midst of a sale.

There are four bids still in the contest, according to Tuchel, and more conversations will take place next week.

“It is also my information that it is down to four and there will be more negotiations in the next week,” he said during a press conference on Friday.

Raine Group, a New York-based investment bank, has narrowed down the number of potential buyers for Chelsea Football Club to four.

Todd Boehly, David Blitzer, and Josh Harris, the Ricketts family, and Boston Celtics owner Stephen Pagliuca are among the shortlisted bidders, according to The Athletic.
