FOOTBALL TRANSFER: Lingard is furious with Manchester United after they blocked his move to EPL rivals

Jesse Lingard, a Manchester United attacker, is dissatisfied with the club’s refusal to permit a loan move to Newcastle United.

Lingard is in the final 6 months of his Old Trafford contract, although he wants to depart in January.

The England international had a fantastic loan spell with West Ham United in the second half of last season, but he returned to Manchester with the expectation of playing regularly.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, failed to deliver on that promise, with Lingard only appearing in 88 minutes of Premier League action this season.

Although Solskjaer was fired in November, the situation has not improved under his replacement, Ralf Rangnick, who has only made two cameo appearances off the bench.

Lingard is a target for Newcastle, who are desperate for reinforcements in their fight to avoid relegation.

The Magpies are ready to pay a large loan fee in order to win the move, but their Premier League rivals are said to be pushing back.

Lingard believes United’s attitude demonstrates a lack of respect for a player who has been at the club for more than two decades, according to the Telegraph.
