FOOTBALL: PSG has been urged to sell Messi and Neymar as soon as possible.

Etienne Moatti, a French football expert, has advised PSG to sell Lionel Messi and Neymar once the summer transfer windows open.

Messi and Neymar, according to Moatti, are both too old to play for the French Ligue 1 giants.

PSG fans booed Messi and Neymar last month when their team was eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid.

“The question as worded seems good to me,” Moatti said on L’Equipe du Soir (PSG Talk via Canal Supporters). It’s a question that deserves to be asked.

“They are older players, for one, Lionel Messi, who clearly does not feel compelled to play for PSG, and Neymar’s performance is still in decline.”

“They have the two biggest salaries in Ligue 1 and, by far, huge salaries that weigh on Paris Saint-accounts Germain’s a little,” he continued. So, if you have the option of relocating them elsewhere, even though it will be extremely difficult, you must consider it.”
