Lionel Messi, Argentina’s captain, has stated that many things would change after the 2022 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar later this year.

After leading Argentina to a 3-0 victory against Venezuela in the penultimate round of South American World Cup qualification on Friday, Messi stated.

Argentina defeated Venezuela thanks to three goals from Nicolas Gonzalez, Angel Di Maria, and Lionel Messi.

“I’m not sure what I’m going to do after the World Cup.” At his post-match press conference, Messi said, “I’m thinking about what’s ahead.”

“I’ll have to reconsider a lot of things after Qatar,” he remarked.

When asked if he plans to stay with the national squad after Qatar, the Paris Saint-Germain forward, who turns 35 in June, replied, “I don’t know.” I’m thinking about what’s coming up, what’s close by, Ecuador (on Tuesday). June and September are the preparatory matches.”

“Let’s hope things go as smoothly as possible.” But, without a doubt, many things will change after the World Cup.”

Meanwhile, fans of Paris Saint-Germain booed Messi recently.
