The board of Manchester United is split on who to pick as the club’s next manager in the summer, with Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag opposing each other.

According to Sky Sports, Man United’s board of directors is split on who to choose when Ralf Rangnick ultimately leaves Old Trafford at the conclusion of the season.

Rangnick was appointed to temporarily assume charge of Man United’s first team for the balance of the current season.

The Red Devils are doing background checks on potential candidates and have down their list to four names: Pochettino, Ten Hag, Luis Enrique, and Julen Lopetegui.

Despite the fact that Enrique and Lopetegui are candidates, Pochettino and Ten Hag are presently leading the battle.

Ten Hag is the head coach of Ajax, whereas Pochettino is the manager of Paris Saint-Germain.

Man United’s board, on the other hand, is undecided on which way to go, with officials split on who is a better match for Old Trafford between the two individuals.
