Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal manager, has picked Emile Smith Rowe as the player his team requires.
Smith Rowe is a key member of Arsenal’s team, according to Arteta.
During his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League match against Leicester City on Sunday evening, the former Manchester City assistant coach stated this.
Smith Rowe has had a bad run of luck in recent weeks, missing last weekend’s encounter at Watford due to COVID-19.
Arteta explained, “Well, he [Smith Rowe] went through COVID.”
“He’s feeling better now, he’s had a few of training sessions, and hopefully he’ll be able to find his rhythm, consistency, and avoid missing because he’s a critical player for us,” he continued.
Arsenal, on the other hand, is now in fourth place in the Premier League table, with 48 points from 25 games.
