Ex-Eagles star Moses star ruled out for six months after suffering injury. Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses is expected to undergo surgery after sustaining an Achilles tendon injury in Spartak Moscow’s 2-0 win against Ural on Saturday.

Sparta Moscow confirmed that the 31-year-old will spend six months on the sidelines after the surgery.

Moses was stretchered off the pitch in the 32nd minute of the keenly contested encounter after sustaining the injury.

Moses has scored two goals and recorded two assists in four league appearances for his club this season.
“Spartak midfielder Victor Moses, who was injured in the RPL 4th round match in Yekaterinburg, underwent a medical examination,” reads a statement on the club’s website.

“The Nigerian has been diagnosed with an Achilles tendon injury. The player will have to undergo surgery. It will take about six months to recover from the injury.”
