After failing to reach an agreement on a new contract on Monday, Juventus star Paulo Dybala will depart the club at the end of the season.
According to Sky Sports Italy, Dybala’s agent, Jorge Antun, met with members of Juventus’ management on Monday at the club’s training field, including vice president Pavel Nedved, to discuss the Argentine’s future in Turin.
However, both parties were unable to reach an agreement, and Juventus now recognizes that Dybala will be a free agent after the current season.
According to the source, Juventus has offered Dybala a new contract with a smaller basic pay than his current contract, but the 28-year-old might earn more if performance-related bonuses are activated.
Dybala’s current contract with Juventus expires at the conclusion of the season, and he has yet to reach an agreement with the Old Lady.
In the past, Dybala has piqued the curiosity of Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter, and AC Milan.
Since joining Juventus in 2015 from Palermo, he has won five Serie A titles and five Coppa Italia trophies.
