The 30-year-old Senegal international’s form, however, has taken a plunge as he has failed to score for the Bavarians in their previous six games.
The ex-Liverpool forward, who operated on the left hand side during his time with the Premier League outfit, has mostly been deployed as a centre-forward by Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann.

And Bayern legend Lahm has questioned these positional changes, and says he doesn’t know why they are happening.
“Mane’s qualities are out of question,” Lahm told Bild TV, as quoted by Liverpool Echo. “But it’s crucial that roles must be clearly assigned.
“I don’t see that at the moment. I currently don’t understand how the roles are defined. Everyone has to know what they have to do on the pitch.”

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that footage of Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mané failing to control a pass has been making the rounds on the internet.
Mané, who swapped Liverpool for Bayern Munich this summer, is currently on international duty with reigning African champions, Senegal as they finetune their squad for the 2022 World Cup.
Despite his recent dip in form at the club level, the 30-year-old forward was on target for his nation as the Teranga Lions defeated Bolivia on Saturday evening.
