Thierno Ballo, a Chelsea midfielder, has returned to the club after completing his first loan spell with Rapid Vienna in Austria.
Chelsea made the announcement on their official website before their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final encounter on February 9.
Ballo joined Chelsea in 2018 from Viktoria Koln.
“Thierno Ballo has returned after his first loan spell with Rapid Vienna in Austria.
“Ballo, a striker or attacking midfielder who turned 20 earlier this month, played 13 times in his nation, including three times in the Europa League.
Chelsea’s statement read, “He joined our Academy in January 2018 from Viktoria Koln in Germany.”
