Matt Turner, a member of the New England Revolution, has signed a contract with Arsenal.
The New England Revolution made the announcement on their website on Friday.
Remember that Arsenal was widely associated with Turner in January, and the MLS club has now confirmed that the American will join the Premier League club in the summer.
“The New England Revolution and Arsenal of the English Premier League have agreed to terms for goalkeeper Matt Turner to join Arsenal of the English Premier League in a summer transfer for an undisclosed price pending completion of a medical,” the announcement said in part.
“Turner, the Allstate MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021, is likely to join Arsenal in late June 2022,” the statement continued.
Arsenal had agreed to pay £5.8 million for Turner, with a further £2 million in add-ons.
