FOOTBALL: After joining a new club, Jack Wilshere expresses his feelings

Jack Wilshere, an England international, has responded after finally leaving Arsenal’s training camp and signing a deal with Danish team AGF.

Wilshere, 30, has been without a club since being released by Bournemouth in the Championship nine months ago. He had been training with the Gunners.

After failing to find a new club before the start of the season, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta permitted the 30-year-old to return to the club and practice with his group.

Arteta turned down the chance to re-sign the midfielder on a short-term contract, but the star has confirmed his move to the Danish Superliga.

The former Arsenal midfielder has agreed to stay in Denmark until the end of the season and will wear the club’s No.10 shirt.”I have never hidden the fact that it was to be ready for 2022 and for a new club when I started training with Arsenal,” the former England international stated after the deal was completed.

“Now the proper club has arrived, and I’m looking forward to a new challenge.”

“I’m at a point in my career when I need to get back on track after a difficult period, and AGF has provided me with that opportunity.”

“I am grateful for it, and I will do everything in my power to live up to the expectations.”
