The Damages singer just made history by becoming the First African Artist to receive 3 nominations in a single Edition of the BET Awards.
Tems has been nominated for ‘Best Collaboration, Best International Act, and Best New Artist’.
Tems Bags Multiple Nominations Ahead of Wizkid And Fireboy At The 2022 BET Awards. She surprisingly beat Wizkid who was nominated for two categories; Best R&B and Best Collaboration for Essence remix.
Fireboy also bagged a nomination for the ‘Best International Act’ alongside Tems.
The 2022 BET Awards will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson and will air on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
