Davido, a Nigerian music sensation, has claimed that some politicians have infiltrated Osun State with goons ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries.
Davido sounded the alarm in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter account, assuring Imole fans that they should not be alarmed.
“It has come to my attention that certain individuals have imported thugs and their machineries to our dear state to scare delegates, I’d want to reassure Imole supporters and All Adhoc delegates that there is nothing to worry,” he wrote in a tweet.
“The people of Osun want Adeleke, and so it will be.”
He also expressed dissatisfaction with a politician who was attempting to sabotage his career for.
“It hurts terribly, a certain politician who I adore and look up to is attempting to f**k us up, but with God, nothing is impossible!” IMOLE DE!” says the speaker. Davido was the one who wrote.
The PDP’s governorship primary election for Osun State is set for March 7, 2022, with the governorship election to take place on June 16, 2022.
All six governorship candidates were vetted by the Osun State Screening Committee.
Senator Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, is a leading governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Meanwhile, in the state, the PDP delegates congress is taking place.
