NEWS: The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has suspended train services between Abuja and Kaduna as a result of the incident

The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) is a state-owned railway company in Nigeria.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the company’s services have been suspended.

The announcement was delivered in a short message on NRC’s Twitter page.

This comes after bandits detonated bombs on train rails and targeted the 6 p.m. train from Abuja to Kaduna.

Many are said to have been taken, while others were injured in the attack.

“Dear travellers, train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route have been temporarily suspended due to unforeseen circumstances,” the NRC stated on Tuesday.

“Further communication will be sent as soon as possible.”
