Daniel Riolo, a French journalist, says Lionel Messi was fortunate to be absent from PSG’s 3-0 loss to Monaco in a Ligue 1 match on Sunday.
PSG lost to Monaco at the weekend, and Messi was left out of the matchday squad.
But, according to Riolo, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner spared the day’s devastation, as PSG players who played in the Monaco match were heavily criticized after the game.
“Until the end of the season, PSG has decided to be silly and shameful?” Is this the project you’re talking about? Neymar risked his life to defeat Real Madrid. The rationale that he drags himself around the field like a DH player and that DH players are pardoned.
“Several players and coaches must go into the accounts and be cleared on the spot if PSG and Qatar want to gain a minimum of respect!” Will people still come out against Lorient and tell PSG fans that they shouldn’t whistle? “Don’t say anything.”
After the game, Riolo tweeted (as reported by le10sport): “Messi did good to have a sore stomach, he evaded the cataclysm of the day.”
