Chelsea overcame Middlesbrough 2-0 to reach the FA Cup semi-finals, thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech.
The Championship club’s incredible run in the competition came to an end with the victory.
Middlesbrough had eliminated Manchester United on penalties in the fourth round and defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round with an extra-time victory.
Chris Wilder’s team, on the other hand, came unstuck against Chelsea on Saturday.
Chelsea took the lead on 15 minutes when Romelu Lukaku tapped into an empty net, before Hakim Ziyech doubled their lead with a brilliant finish from the edge of the 18-yard box.
The team of Thomas Tuchel is coming off a 13-game unbeaten streak that began in January.
