Stuttgart, a Bundesliga club, is said to have set a price for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham target Borna Sosa.

In July of 2018, the transfer was completed. Before becoming a first-team regular at Stuttgart in 2020-21, the 24-year-old had to wait a couple more seasons to make an impact. In 26 Bundesliga games that season, he had 10 assists, helping the club finish ninth in the rankings.

Sosa’s strong form continued at the start of the current season, with three assists in a 5-1 thrashing of Greuther Furth by Stuttgart. Since then, the Croatian international has scored in a 2-1 triumph over Mainz.

Chelsea attempted to entice Sosa away from Germany in January, but the deal fell through.

According to BILD journalist Christian Falk, the Blues are now competing for his signature with London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham.

In the summer, all three Premier League clubs are aiming to improve their left-back options. And Sosa might be a good fit.

Borna Sosa price tag revealed

Goal provide a brief update on the transfer chase and reveal how much Sosa could join for. They claim Stuttgart will likely accept offers worth €30million (£25m).

This is certainly achievable for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

The Gunners already have Kieran Tierney and Nuno Tavares available on the left side of defence. However, Tierney’s ankle injury earlier in the season could force Mikel Arteta to search for an extra player in the position.

It is well documented that Chelsea searched for a new left-back in January. They needed cover for Marcos Alonso following Ben Chilwell’s season-ending knee issue.

Thomas Tuchel eventually had to settle on bringing Kenedy back from his loan spell at Flamengo. But Sosa would be a quality addition at Stamford Bridge, should director Marina Granovskaia green light a deal.

Spurs can rely on Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon currently, but with the Spaniard attracting interest from Real Madrid, a replacement may well be needed.

Who is the best: Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland?

Talks begin over Arsenal capture

Meanwhile, Arsenal have reportedly begun talks over the signing of Fabian Ruiz – and the Napoli man could be on the move for a bargain fee this summer.

The Sunday Mirror claim an exciting deal for Fabian may be on the cards.

They state Gunners officials have already held talks with agents of the 25-year-old midfielder to determine his wage demands.

The player will have just a year left on his deal come the summer with talks over an extension failing to see an agreement reached. As such, Napoli will likely have little choice but to sell the star for a knockdown fee.

Rated as one of the best midfielders in Serie A, the Mirror believes Napoli may be seeking as little as £16m, plus bonuses, for Fabian.
