In a small cabinet move, Governor Dave Umahi approved the relocation of Eze Nwachukwu, Ebonyi’s Commissioner for Markets and Parks Development, to the state Ministry of Inter-Party Affairs.
Kenneth Ugbala, the Secretary to the State Government, made the declaration on Saturday in Abakaliki.
Mr Ugbala stated, “As a result, Nwachukwu is required to hand up his previous office of Market and Parks Development to the Secretary to the State Government and Coordinating Commissioner by the close of work on Monday, February 21.”
Mr Ugbala stated that the redeployment was immediate and urged Mr Nwachukwu to turn over all of his belongings and documentation to the SSG’s office.
Mr Umahi had also authorized the promotion of Ngozi Obichukwu, his Special Assistant on Social Development Goals (SDGs), to Senior Special Assistant on SDGs and Market Development, he added.
Mr Ugbala congratulated the aide on her promotion and stated that the re-designation was effective immediately.
