Tolu Oniru-Demuren, aka Toolz, a popular radio personality, has addressed the breakup rumors with her spouse, Tunde Demuren.
There were rumors circulating a while back that the radio host had split up with her husband while pregnant.
Toolz denied the claim in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, explaining that she wasn’t wearing her ring because her fingers were swollen and she was pregnant at the time.
The rumor that she had moved out of her marital residence, she claims, was unfounded.
“The rumor of a marriage breakdown arose because I didn’t wear my wedding band at the time, and I also changed my Instagram bio.”
“I didn’t wear my ring since it didn’t fit anymore; I was pregnant and my fingers were swollen at the time.”
“The rumor that he moved out was preposterous,” she recalled, “and it frightened my mother when she heard because I was pregnant.”
After her first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, Toolz went on to share her story.
That time, she claims, was the most painful experience of her life since she couldn’t believe it was happening to her.
Seeing a therapist and being spiritual, on the other hand, she said, helped her get through the difficult period in her life.
“I don’t enjoy talking about the miscarriage,” Toolz added, “but I was so lost at the time.” They informed me I wasn’t going to carry the pregnancy to term, and that if I did, there would be a slew of problems.
“We talked to different pastors and prayed about it, but understanding that it wasn’t going to work made me go on.”
“It took seven hours of labor simply to remove the baby, but all I could do was pray.” I held myself responsible, but after speaking with my therapist, I realized it could have happened to anyone.
“I’m glad I was able to get through it, and I hope my story can serve as an example to others.” I progressed from crying every day to feeling better.”
