Welcome To Tha Carter Tour In April Will Feature Back To Spotlight Lil Wayne In Toronto

Lil Wayne is kicking off a tour this spring, and his only Canadian stop will be in Toronto on April 12 at History⁠, a venue Drake co-founded.

Wayne announced a 28-city tour in an Instagram Post.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m., with presales starting today at noon on Ticketmaster.

Lil Wayne hasn’t released any new music since his collaborative album with Rich Tha Kid in 2021, but given the title of the tour, it’s likely this new tour will center around Wayne’s acclaimed Tha Carter series.

The fifth and final installment in the series will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year.

In 2022, Lil announced work on Tha Carter VI at the Young Money reunion concert during Drake’s OVO Fest. As reported by Complex Music Twitter.
