Gunmen Attack Church in Ondo State; Many People Dead. It was a saddened Sunday in Owo area part of Ondo state today as some Gunmen attacked a church in the area and killed several worshippers.
The church named St Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa, in Owo was attacked early this morning during mass.
Many people were reportedly killed in the barbaric attacked.
The killers are alleged to have departed the site after carrying out the murders, which left a large number of victims dead.Some dead bodies were seen soaked with blood in the church in a video obtained by 360Media.
On condition of anonymity, a nurse in Owo told our correspondent that there are insufficient medical professionals on the ground and on duty to attend to the wounded in the hospital’s emergency unit, while some of the casualties have been transferred to private hospitals.
