Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, better known as Winners Chapel Worldwide, claimed that he only celebrates his birthday every ten years.
During a lecture, Oyedepo, Africa’s wealthiest preaching pastor, stated he doesn’t have time to celebrate his birthday every year because of his busy schedule.
He believes that in order to achieve tremendous height, one must focus on hard labor, emphasizing that only diligent workers soar higher in life’s race.
“I can only celebrate birthdays once every ten years due to a lack of time,” he explained. You’re on your own any other day that you wish me a happy birthday.
“In the race of life, only dedicated workers emerge as high fliers. People nowadays are so sluggish that food takes first. They sit around the table as if it were their coronation.”
On September 27, 2021, the 67-year-old gospel preacher had his last birthday.
