Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester City, has alleged that Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Chelsea, is unhappy that the Blues are not currently at the top of the Premier League standings.

Chelsea’s Premier League title hopes have dwindled in recent months, with only three wins in their previous ten league games.

Tuchel’s team is now 13 points behind current Premier League leaders Manchester City, making it increasingly unlikely that they will end their five-year quest for a trophy.

As a result, Rodgers has stated that Tuchel will be dissatisfied with his team’s present position, with only Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, claiming satisfaction with the standings.

Rodgers remarked in his post-match press conference after Leicester City’s 2-0 Premier League loss to Liverpool on Thursday: “I think every team other than Man City won’t be happy.” That is the truth of the situation.

“If you ask every manager if they’re happy, I think Man City and Pep [Guardiola] would both respond, ‘Yes, I’m quite happy.'”

“Jurgen [Klopp] will not do so because he wants to be the best. Thomas [Tuchel] will not because he wants to be the best.”
