Donny van de Beek of Manchester United has been linked with a loan move to Crystal Palace till the end of the season.
Both parties are in discussions, but the player is understood to demand regular game time.
Van de Beek hasn’t played much since joining from Ajax in August 2020 for £35 million with £5 million in add-ons.
The 24-year-old Dutchman, who has a five-year contract with United, is open to a move to Selhurst Park.
Van De Beek has only made eight Premier League appearances this season, none of which have been as a starter.
Prior to Sunday’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool, Palace manager Patrick Vieira made it clear that he wants to upgrade the squad. He said it in his pre-match news conference.
With 24 points, the Eagles are currently in 13th place in the Premier League.
