Former Nigerian goalkeeper Andrew Aikhoumogbe has supported Nigeria’s Super Eagles to upset Ghana’s Black Stars in a two-leg 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.
When the two teams meet later this month, Aikhoumogbe believes the Super Eagles would humiliate Ghana.
On March 25, Ghana will host Nigeria, with the rematch four days later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
“This is a game the Super Eagles knows they must have to prove a point and take something valuable to Nigeria if they are to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar,” Aikhoumogbe told Completesport.
“Yes, I agree that the game will not be easy for Nigeria; however, I am confident that the Super Eagles will wipe the floor with their Ghanaian counterpart regardless of where the game is played.”
“It’s Eagles all the way, and I feel we’ll come out on top in the end.”
