Marcus Rashford, a Manchester United striker, has given Anthony Martial a note of encouragement following his loan move to Sevilla.
On Tuesday, Manchester United announced that Martial had sealed a loan move to Sevilla.
The rest of the 2021-22 season would be spent by Martial with the LaLiga side.
Rashford reacted by sending a tweet to his Twitter account wishing Martial, whom he hailed as his brother, the best of luck in Sevilla.
With a heart emoji, the England international responded, “Good luck dear brother.”
“Martial, who will wear Sevilla’s No. 22 shirt, will be the second United player to appear in Spain’s top division this season, following Facundo Pellistri,” Man United said in a statement.
Martial scored 79 goals in 269 appearances for Man United, helping the Premier League giants win the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Europa League.
