Subdued attacks and offered a threat from set-pieces. Made some vital blocks as the game went on. 7

Grew into the game and made a vital recovery tackle in the box. 6

Tyrell Malacia

Great in possession and kept his cool playing out from the back. He deserves to be starting against Brighton next weekend. 8

A typical performance of his before his dismissal. Selfless grit and determination coupled with some fine interceptions and tackles, but was sent off for two yellows. 5

Better from him but still not quite enough. He drew some fouls with his forward runs but didn’t have much joy in the final third. 6

Another solid outing at the end of a successful summer. Made intelligent runs and played with confidence. 6

He should have scored when through on goal but another bright display overall. Will lead the line for United at the start of the season, and maybe even throughout all of it. 7

Played in his favoured attacking berth but didn’t get on the ball enough despite making some good runs. 6

A magician at work. Made an instant impact with his delivery from deep and gave a taste of the quality he can bring to this side. 7

Wasted a great chance to score in the final ten minutes and gave away a cheap free-kick. He needs another loan but was unlucky to be taken off again. 5
