Manchester United Are Trying Their Best To Sign Frenkie De Jong. That Man Utd are going after Frenkie de Jong is no longer a rumour as it is the truth.

Man Utd CEO Richard Arnold admitted that the club are doing “everything possible” to sign the Dutchman.

Man Utd are getting closer and closer to signing Frenkie de Jong as each day passes. The English side have intensified negotiations in recent weeks in order to sign him.

He is a player Erik ten Hag has specifically asked for. They are both Dutch and they know each other well from their time together at Ajax and the new Man Utd manager believes De Jong is fundamental to his plans.

A Twitter account published a video of a group of Man Utd supporters having a beer with Arnold in a pub. According to the tweets in the thread, “Arnold told us that Man Utd board members are in Barcelona trying to complete the agreement with De Jong.”

 

“This year, the money the manager and the Director of Football need is there. Money isn’t the issue. The manager wants him, he’s doing a great job and is showing that De Jong is a great player,” he added.

He concluded by talking about the things which are preventing the deal being completed: “As a club, we’re doing everything possible to get the deal done. The money is there but there’s things standing in our way which I can’t say.”
