Liverpool has won the Carabao Cup final for the second year in a row.
On Sunday, Jurgen Klopp’s side defeated Chelsea 11-10 on penalties to win the Premier League for a record ninth time.
This season, the Reds are three trophies away of an unprecedented quadruple.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel’s late gamble backfired as Liverpool won in dramatic fashion.
Caoimhin Kelleher was Liverpool’s hero after 20 successful penalties, first stepping up to make it 11-10 and then witnessing Kepa Arrizabalaga smash his spot kick high over the bar to end an incredible thriller.
Prior to the shootout, Tuchel introduced Kepa in the 119th minute. The Spaniard, on the other hand, failed to save any kicks and even missed the vital one.
