Their fallout came to the fore over the weekend after Klopp dropped Henderson to the bench during their Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest, where they suffered a loss.
Man United legend Paul Scholes took issue with the move and told Premier League Productions:
“He has Jordan Henderson on the bench, he should be playing,” Scholes noted.
“He is the leader of the team. He’s the captain and the one, the Casemiro type of role, and he gets everyone ticking around,” he added.
