John Terry, a Chelsea veteran, has chosen the Barcelona team from 2004/2005 to 2009/2010 as the best team he faced during his career.
This was remarked by Terry ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League round of 16 first-leg match against Lille on Tuesday.
“Barcelona squad from 2004/05 all the way up to 2009/10,” Terry wrote in an Instagram Q&A when asked to name the finest team he played against.
“In my opinion, the best team ever.”
Terry retired from football in 2018 after leaving Chelsea in 2017 to join Aston Villa.
