Former Arsenal player Ian Wright has branded West Ham defender Kurt Zouma a “coward” for the handling of his pet cat.
The West Ham defender was caught on camera kicking and slapping his pet cat.
Yoan, the 27-year-brother, old’s caught him chasing, kicking, and slapping his cat.
West Ham has launched an internal investigation following the France international’s actions and has stated that the issue will be dealt with internally.
Although the player has now apologized for his actions, Wright believes the former Chelsea star acted cowardly.
In response to host Laura Woods’ question, “What kind of a person are you to do something like that?” in a talkSPORT video, he said, “What kind of a person are you to do something like that?” “A coward!!!!” Wright stated in response to the Zouma footage.
“The club completely condemns the acts of Kurt Zouma in the video that has circulated…” added West Ham, who purchased Zouma from Chelsea for £30 million last summer.
