German Football Association to Reward Players With €400,000 Each for Winning Qatar World Cup. The German national team’s players will each receive a stunning €400,000 for winning the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar later this year.
Each participant will receive €50,000 for making it out of the group stage of this year’s World Cup, and €100,000 for making it to the quarterfinals.
Germany’s athletes would receive €150,000 each for a semi-final berth and €200,000 each for third place. A €250,000 bonus would be awarded for losing in the championship game.
According to the German Football Association, German national team players will receive an incredible €400,000 for winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup (DFB).
The near half a million bonus was reached following a successful negotiation between the leadership of DFB and the team’s representatives comprised of Manuel Neuer, Thomas Mueller, Joshua Kimmich and Ilkay Guendogan.
The bonus for the title win is up from €350,000 for the last edition in 2018. Following Germany’s triumph at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the players received bonuses of €300,000 each.
Germany, one of the favourites tipped to win this year’s Mundial, are desperate to make amends for their dismal performance at the 2018 World Cup, where the four-time champions exited at the group stages.
Die Mannschaft have been drawn in Group E for this year’s Mundial along with one-time winners Spain, 2014 World Cup surprise package Costa Rica and Asian powerhouse Japan.
“We had intense discussions in a good and constructive atmosphere,” said DFB President Bernd Neuendorf following a meeting with team representatives Manuel Neuer, Thomas Mueller, Joshua Kimmich and Ilkay Guendogan.

Rüdiger is just one of many who have spoken out about the decision, but the German international believes he knows why the decision was made.
As reported by Football Espana, Rüdiger said that Qatar’s hosting of the tournament was proof that money played a significant role in football.
