Eddie Howe Postpones A Press Conference Following Queen Elizabeth II’s Death. Eddie Howe has called off morning Press conference ahead of the trip to West Ham this weekend – with the clash expected to be postponed as Britain enters a period of mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The media call has been given a new time of 1.30pm but is likely to be rearranged for later next week. A club statement read: “Newcastle United and its owners are deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The EFL announced last night that their Friday night fixtures would be off and Premier League chiefs are meeting with government officials this morning. West Ham played Romanian side FCSB but it was too late to make a postponement.
