Chelsea suffers major blow as transfer target agrees deal to join their EPL rivals. Perisic, who was a key part of Conte’s title-winning Inter Milan side in 2020-21, has decided to reunite with the Italian gaffer, agreeing to terms on a two-year deal with Tottenham, according to The Independent.
Recall that the 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.
He is out of contract with Inter this summer and is yet to reach a new agreement with the club.
The Croatia international joined Inter from Wolfsburg in 2015.
Perisic made more than 250 appearances for the Serie A giants and guided his country to reach the World Cup final in 2018.
As a result, Perisic has been in talks with Tottenham, Chelsea and Juventus over a free transfer and is now set to sign for Conte’s men.
