Aubameyang Bitterness Exposed As Leaked Footage Shows Huge Swipe At Mikel Arteta. Leaked footage has shown ex-Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang taking a huge dig at his former manager Mikel Arteta.

Aubameyang was a popular figure at the Emirates but left the Premier League club on a sour note.

Following a disciplinary breach – which ended up being the final straw for Arteta – the Gabonese striker was ostracised from the Arsenal first-team squad and forced to train on his own.

His last appearance for the club came off the bench in the top-flight loss away to Everton on December 6 last year.

Details of the player’s exile and eventual exit were documented in the Amazon docuseries All or Nothing: Arsenal.

It was revealed that Aubameyang had returned late from a visit to see his mother.

When speaking about his departure from the north Londoners, Aubameyang has hinted that the decision all came down to Arteta.

There is clearly some bad blood there and leaked footage has now shown the Chelsea striker criticise Arteta for his inability to manage “big characters and big players”.

Aubameyang claims that the Spaniard likes managing young players because they “don’t say anything” and “listen”. Blimey.

In the video, Aubameyang said: “Big characters and big players… he can’t deal with it.

“He needs some young players who don’t say anything. They listen.”

Clearly bitter over his departure, Aubameyang also acknowledged Mesut Ozil’s exit from the club.

The German was also exiled from the first team before being allowed to join Fenerbahce on a free transfer.

The more time goes on and the more Aubameyang says about the situation proves that Arteta was correct in his decision to force the former Borussia Dortmund striker out.

Aubameyang – who has been linked with a surprise move to Paris Saint-Germain – was clearly a bad egg and a poor influence on the dressing room towards the end of his time in north London.

The fact Arteta had a “catalogue of misdemeanours” from the Gabon captain shows that his actions were justified.

Arteta’s decision to change his transfer philosophy to sign “young players who don’t say anything” is certainly working.

The Gunners exceeded expectations last season by narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification.

And the club’s start to this season has been absolutely outstanding.

Victory against Liverpool on Sunday was a huge statement, with Arsenal back on top of the Premier League at Manchester City’s expense.

It is ironic to see that Aubameyang cannot come to terms that he was the problem and that footballers are supposed to “listen” to their manager and arrive for training and matches on time.
