In a Nigeria National League match, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC defeated EFCC Football Club of Abuja 1-0. (NNL).

On Saturday, the 2021/2022 NNL Match Day 7 was held at the Kwara Stadium Complex in Ilorin.

The result moves the NNL team from Ilorin to second place on the log with 13 points and a five-goal margin behind City FC of Abuja, which leads Group A1 with 15 points.

Ibrahim Muhammed, the captain of ABS Ilorin FC, scored the game’s sole goal in the 50th minute.

Despite the fact that the visitors lost, Akeem Favour was a nightmare for ABS Ilorin FC left-back John Godwin, who battled to keep up with the youngster’s pace.

The Red Devils are looking for a manager who can help them develop a strong playing identity, and Hag has been selected to take over in the summer.

The club’s management will still interview Pochettino, Enrique, and Lopetegui, according to the source, but United is concerned that the trio are more interested in rebuilding the club through transfers than correcting the playing style.

United will continue to communicate with Pochettino, who now has the burden of dethroning Ten Hag as the club’s first choice.
